A 16-year real estate veteran and two-time REAL Trends America’s Best agent, Jackie brings a multifaceted vision of Los Angeles real estate to Compass. With an eclectic background spanning industry lines and coastal cities, she serves as a dedicated advocate for her clients throughout every step of the buying and selling process.

Born and raised in New York City, Jackie studied film and broadcast journalism at NYU before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an opportunity as the publicity and marketing director at Landmark Theaters. It was in L.A. where she would discover her true affinity for real estate and design. After spending time developing single-family residences and spec homes with her husband, a designer and builder, Jackie recognized her passion for finding and selling homes and set out to earn her real estate license.

Leveraging her marketing expertise and development background with her natural talent for matching clients with their dream homes, Jackie offers an intimate understanding of the transaction process. Her tireless work ethic and keen negotiating skills have earned her the loyalty of a distinguished clientele who turn to her time and time again for their real estate needs.

When she’s not buying or selling on behalf of her clients, Jackie enjoys spending time with her family, studying her passion for interior design, and relaxing with a good book. She serves on the board of the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai, is a member of The Ebelle of Los Angeles, and contributes to a number of animal rights advocacy groups, including The Humane Society and Boxer Rescue LA and Best Friends Animal Society.

Victoria Romeyn

Victoria Romeyn, originally from the East coast has resided in Los Angeles for over 15 years. Her father, a developer peaked her interest in the real estate industry. She began her real estate career working with high end developers in the Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, Bel Air areas. Learning the in’s and out’s of how to build a home and how to manage a team.

With a love of the industry she took her career to the next level and became an agent.Victoria has worked with some of the top agents and brokerages in Los Angeles.

Her career landed her with Jackie Smith. Now an agent with The Jackie Smith Group @ Compass. Her knowledge ranges from leases to new builds and everything in between; with such a vast knowledge of the city, industry and an eye for detail.

Vanessa Quinn

Selling luxury real estate in Los Angeles has been Vanessa’s passion since moving to Beverly Hills 5 years ago; she’s an artist at heart from a creative family of designers and architects, her mother was also an agent in Sydney’s prestigious real estate market. She has great appreciation for architecture, able to visualize potential in any property and a keen sense of the local nuances of LA’s neighborhoods.

Vanessa’s business acumen and love for real estate affords buyers and sellers professionalism and the skills to find and negotiate the best deal for her clients. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Vanessa moved the US to attend Temple University in Pennsylvania, for International Business, Risk Management and Economics. She has worked in both US and Australian corporate insurance markets for 13 years; as a Broker with Aon, and on the Carrier side with Chubb. Focused on Global Accounts of > $1 Billion in revenue, across all industries. 

A career negotiating with sophisticated corporate buyers of Risk Management has fortified her skills in relationship management, strategic thinking, contract analysis and sales, all of which are essential to a smooth real estate transaction. As a Realtor, Vanessa’s clients are treated with the same degree of service and integrity as provided to senior leadership of the world’s largest companies. Each client experience is tailored to the particular requirements of the individual since every customer and deal is unique.

Steve Chetelat

As a native of Baltimore, Maryland, Steve's interest in real estate started at a young age while attending Sunday open houses with his parents. His dream of living in sunshine and warm weather began a journey west that led him to the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, Los Angeles presented itself organically as the next step. Steve traded the desert and saguaros for the ocean and palm trees of Venice Beach. After establishing himself as a Venice local, he later purchased a home in Silver Lake which peaked his interest in the Los Angeles luxury real estate market. From that point forward he found himself tracking each home sale and each new business opening within his neighborhood, thus realizing that this newfound obsession may be put to good use as a business venture.

Steve joins Compass after working for over a decade in talent representation. As a talent agent, Steve has represented thousands of artists in his career for all aspects of entertainment & music. His clients have traveled the world with artists like Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, P!nk, Snoop Dogg, and Katy Perry. His clients have appeared on stages from Broadway to Las Vegas as well as many feature films, commercials, and television programs. Steve's success in entertainment stemmed from his unwavering commitment to his clients and his ability to act as an extension of the person he represents. His life passion is to work on behalf of others to help see their dreams come to fruition thus making a seamless transition from entertainment to real estate.

Steve currently resides in Silver Lake with his husband and 4 dogs. He loves brunch in the neighborhood, activism within his community, a morning run around the Silver Lake reservoir, Saturday morning yoga, and dancing to live music.

Rodney Williams II

Marketing & Administrative Assistant

Rodney has a welcoming personality and true passion for the day to day operations of real estate. He maintains our administrative office with proficiency, innovation, and strategic planning. He personifies a high level of professionalism exhorting the key essentials of being highly motivated, and personable with all levels of clientele. 

Before The Jackie Smith Group, Rodney held the role as Director of Client Care & Office Manager on a top producing team here in Los Angeles, while actively participating in project-based activities around the Los Angeles neighborhood. He’s punctual and tactful, with a talent for grasping new criteria quickly, all while assuring daily tasks are effectively initiated above the call of duty. He’s family oriented and strives to empower the youth of our society as a youth mentor at a local middle school in Hancock Park, and his non-profit mentoring organization.

 Outside of real estate, you can find him spending weekends on the beach in Malibu, tap dancing, horseback riding, hiking, and serving at his church near North La Brea. Rodney believes in the power of synergy, more importantly the positive effect it reveals to reach a place of goal mastering success.

Katya Leick

From a Midwestern Division I women’s basketball player to a morning anchor, Katya brings a warm, vibrant and refreshing vision of real estate to Compass. Born and raised in the mid-west, and experience living on both coasts has equipped Katya with the ability to appreciate her small town values of understanding particularities, sharing stories and appreciating natural beauty while maintaining a hard hitting, motivated mindset. Saddling close to a decade of experience under her belt, Katya embodies dedication, authenticity, and efficiency paired with a strong sport network and clientele.
